Eckhard Bruckschen has over 10 years direct experience in the project management, installation and maintenance of submarine tele-communication systems.

He is a Master Mariner and a MBA for Seatrade. After 10 years at sea culminating as a Master Mariner in the merchant navy and the oil and gas industry, Mr Bruckschen joined Siemens Submarine Cable Systems as an Installation and Development Engineer in 1992. There he designed modular cable installation equipment, a new ploughing technology and a unique cable transport system.

He then became Director Installations and was in charge of several projects around the world in shallow and deep
water.

In 1999 he joined Flute Limited and project managed the "Concerto#1" cable system.
Currently Mr. Bruckschen is employed as Operations Superintendent with a well-known
installation / maintenance company.

Among the telecommunication systems with which he was involved are Germany-Sweden 4 - 5,
TEGOPA, Greece Domestic, Colombian Domestic, Nigerian Festoon, Cap Verde Island,
DFON, Brazil Domestic, Concerto#1, NACS, FNAL Phase I and II and many others.
